TDC Dance Shop

Welcome to TDC’s dance shop! We are very excited to offer a convenient online store for our dance family. All items have been personally selected with your dancer in mind. Click on the link below and you will be directed to our online dance store. Here you will find dance attire, shoes, and accessories to fit your dancers classroom and performance needs.

DRESS CODE 


The following dress code will be enforced in order for the teacher to be able to correct alignment and to promote self-discipline required for dance.  Blue jeans are not considered dance clothes.  Shoes and Dancewear may be ordered through The Dance Centre, or purchased through a dance store. 

  • Hair: Hair must be securely pulled back off the face in a bun, braid, or ponytail.  Stud earrings are the only jewelry permitted for the dancer’s safety. 

  • Ballet: All female students must wear a leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes.  Skirts and warmups are optional. Male students may wear shorts, T-shirts, and black ballet shoes. 

  • Pointe: Leotard and tights are required.  Any brand of Pointe shoes may be worn as long as they are professionally fitted.  Short ballet skirts are optional.

  • Jazz: Leotard or biketard, tights, and black jazz shoes are required.  Jazz pants, capris, or shorts are optional. 
    Contemporary: Leotard, biketard, or unitard. Tights and skin tone half soles for shoes. 

  • Tap: Leotard, tights, and black tap shoes are required.  Jazz pants or shorts are optional.  No pants may drag the ground.

  • Gymnastics:  Biketard, fitted shorts or pants and shirts that are tucked in are required. No shoes, please.

  • Technique: Biketard or leotard with convertible tights. Fitted athletic wear is allowed. Half sole or jazz shoes.

 

TDC now has a dance shop online!  All items have been handpicked by the TDC staff approved dance and gymnastics class attire and shoes is located online for your convenience. These items will be available all year long so if your dancer ever needs new items, you can place a new order at any time. 

Dance Shop Categories 

Accessories/Hair/Bags 

You will find great bags for classes, garment bags for costumes, hair accessories for performances, and earrings for competition performances. 

Ballet Class Attire 

Dance attire for Levels I-V.  Child and adult sizes available. 

Ballet Shoes 

Ballet shoes for Levels I-V.  Split sole shoes are strongly recommended for levels III-V 

Technique Class Shoes 

You will find Jazz or Half-sole style shoes.  Ballet shoes are also expectable for this class. 

Contemporary/Lyrical 

Child and adult sizes available for levels I-V 

Dance Class (ages 2-6) 

Dance attire and shoes for Twos in Tutus, Tippy Toe Toddlers, Creative Ballet, Kinder Combo.  Kinder Combo will also need to purchase tap shoes in the Tap Shoe list. 

Gymnastics 

Child and Adult sizes available for all levels of Gymnastics. 

Jazz Class Attire 

Child and Adult sizes available in leotards, tights, and shoes for all levels. 

Jazz Shoes 

Child and adult sizes available for levels I-V 

Tap Shoes 

Child and adult sizes available for Kinder Combo and Levels I-V. 

Undergarments 

All items in the category are recommended for dancers to wear during performances and recitals.
